Experimental Study on Anti-Scour Property and Erosion Resistance of 3D Mat Materials for Slope Protection in Waterway Engineering

3D mats are environmentally friendly and ecological materials for protecting river waterway banks. The anti-scour properties of the erosion resistance soil under them can be studied to provide decision support selection slope protection their applicable areas. In this paper, an indoor prototypical scouring experiment with a flume is carried out study three types mat (vegetation grass mats, Enkamat reinforced Mike mat) underlying typical combined conditions flow rate water stage. It concluded that increase coefficient bed surface, same incoming flow, average velocity inversely related coefficient. There modes action flow: material failure caused by mechanical damage, performance serious mass non-failure. Of materials, more resistant than other two unreinforced volume ratios vegetation 59.24%, 61.81% 62.17%, respectively, small high results show have best property conservation performance, followed mats. addition, outperform non-reinforced ones in on bank slope.
